CVFD Handbook

 

1.    Volunteering for any non-profit organization takes dedication and family understanding.

2.    CVFD has two distinct membership categories; Active and Inactive

3.    Active: Fire Personnel

4.    Inactive: Non-Fire Personnel

5.    Both membership categories fall under ‘General Membership”.

6.    Active membership requires the individual to complete an application.

7.    Inactive membership does not at this time require an application.

8.    General membership dues at this time are $3.00 a year.

 

 

 

 

     General membership meetings are held annually.

 

     Regular Board of Directors meetings is scheduled for the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

 

     Fire and Rescue training is scheduled for the other Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

     Volunteering your time as an “Active” member requires tremendous amounts of your time. Due to the business of this organization, fire / rescue services are a dangerous profession.

     Before you decide to become part of a team;

1.  Discuss with your family you intentions.

2.  Be secure in your relationship.
